A Dell front bezel covers the drive bays and, on locking models, keeps hands off hot-swap drives until someone with the key opens it. Bezels are cut per chassis height and per server generation, so match both before ordering.

Specifications

Part number

FTMDX

Type

Front bezel, 1U

Rack units

1U

Display

None

Condition

Refurbished

Warranty

180-day

Compatibility

This bezel fits the 1U chassis front of the 13th gen rack servers and the 12th gen chassis they inherited; it does not fit the newer 1U servers, which changed the ear and latch design and take 9MTRW or the LCD 521RX. It is a 1U part and will not span a 2U face. It has no display and no connector, so it clips on with no cabling. If you need the drives locked, confirm the lock and key are present on the unit you receive, since this generation shipped both ways. Fair warning: the newer 1U bezels look similar at a glance and do not fit; match the generation, not the rack height.

Every part we sell is tested and covered by our 180-day warranty. Volume pricing starts at 5 units, and our team at 1-800-778-1545 can quote a fleet refresh or a mixed parts order. Request a quote or add it to your cart; we confirm fit against your service tag before it ships.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0748/4493/0247/files/dell-poweredge-12th-13th-gen-1u-front-bezel-faceplate-675858.jpg?v=1765539727
