About this part
Refurbished Dell Intel X520/i350 rNDC with two 10Gb SFP+ and two 1GbE RJ45 ports, a daughter card for the rNDC slot in Dell 13th and 14th gen PowerEdge servers. The rNDC (rack Network Daughter Card) is Dell's mezzanine LOM for 13th and 14th gen rack servers: it sits on its own connector, so the onboard ports never cost a PCIe slot. Swapping it changes the built-in fabric.

Compatibility
It fits only the dedicated rNDC connector on the motherboard: not a PCIe slot, not the bNDC slot in Dell PowerEdge blade servers, and not 14th gen models built around a LOM riser instead of an rNDC. 15th and 16th gen servers moved to OCP NIC 3.0; this card does not fit them. The two 10GbE ports are SFP+ cages, with optics and DACs sold separately; the two gigabit ports are RJ45. Browse matching parts for the Dell PowerEdge R730xd.
When to Choose This
The X520/i350 is the budget way to put two SFP+ 10GbE ports and two copper gigabit ports on the built-in fabric, and it is well proven on older Linux and VMware builds. For a new deployment we quote the Intel X710/i350 rNDC, the newer controller with the same port layout. Shops on Broadcom drivers take the Broadcom 57800S.
