About this part
Refurbished Dell Intel i350 quad-port 1GbE rNDC, the Intel gigabit daughter card for the rNDC slot in Dell 13th and 14th gen PowerEdge servers. The rNDC (rack Network Daughter Card) is Dell's mezzanine LOM for 13th and 14th gen rack servers: it sits on its own connector, so the onboard ports never cost a PCIe slot. Swapping it changes the built-in fabric.

Compatibility
It fits only the dedicated rNDC connector on the motherboard: not a PCIe slot, not the bNDC slot in Dell PowerEdge blade servers, and not 14th gen models built around a LOM riser instead of an rNDC. 15th and 16th gen servers moved to OCP NIC 3.0; this card does not fit them. The four ports are 1000Base-T RJ45 on Cat5e or better, with no 10GbE capability, so a later speed change means a different rNDC. Browse matching parts for the Dell PowerEdge R630.
When to Choose This
Take the i350 quad 1GbE rNDC where the build standardizes on Intel drivers for gigabit networking: domain controllers, print and file servers, or hosts whose fast traffic rides PCIe NICs. The Broadcom 5720 quad 1GbE is the like-for-like Broadcom rNDC. For any host with vMotion, iSCSI or backup windows to hit, we quote the Intel X710/i350 or X550/i350 instead.
