About this part
Refurbished AMD EPYC 7313P, a 16-core, 32-thread processor for SP3 one-socket servers. The EPYC 7003 series is AMD's 3rd Gen EPYC (Milan) family on socket SP3, moving to Zen 3 cores with eight DDR4-3200 memory channels and 128 PCIe 4.0 lanes in a one-socket configuration. It is the faster-per-core successor to Rome for virtualization, database and per-core licensed workloads.

Compatibility
This is a Milan part for socket SP3; it does not fit SP5 boards built for EPYC 9004. The P suffix makes it single-socket only; it will not run in a two-socket board. At 155 W it runs on the standard fans and heatsink in the 4 x 3.5-inch and 8 x 2.5-inch Dell PowerEdge R6515; the 10-drive NVMe chassis needs high-performance fans and caps ambient at 30°C. Memory runs at DDR4-3200 with one DIMM per channel and drops to 2933 at two per channel; the R6515 takes RDIMMs or LRDIMMs, not UDIMMs. Browse matching parts for the Dell PowerEdge R6515.
When to Choose This
The 7313P is the 16-core Milan part, matching a 16-core Windows Server license with Zen 3 cores and a 3.7 GHz boost. It suits SQL Server Standard, application servers and small VM hosts. Over the Rome EPYC 7302P at the same 155 W, it gives better per-core performance; step up to the 24-core EPYC 7443P when you need more threads.
