About this part
Refurbished AMD EPYC 7713P, a 64-core, 128-thread processor for SP3 one-socket servers. The EPYC 7003 series is AMD's 3rd Gen EPYC (Milan) family on socket SP3, moving to Zen 3 cores with eight DDR4-3200 memory channels and 128 PCIe 4.0 lanes in a one-socket configuration. It is the faster-per-core successor to Rome for virtualization, database and per-core licensed workloads.

Compatibility
This is a Milan part for socket SP3; it does not fit SP5 boards built for EPYC 9004. The P suffix makes it single-socket only; it will not run in a two-socket board. At 225 W the Dell PowerEdge R6515 needs both the high-performance heatsink and high-performance fans in every drive layout. Memory runs at DDR4-3200 with one DIMM per channel and drops to 2933 at two per channel; the R6515 takes RDIMMs or LRDIMMs, not UDIMMs. Browse matching parts for the Dell PowerEdge R6515.
When to Choose This
The 7713P puts 64 Zen 3 cores in one socket at 225 W, the consolidation pick for container platforms, VDI and build farms. Eight memory channels across 64 cores is the limit to watch, and per-core licensing on 64 cores is expensive. The EPYC 7763 gives the same 64 cores at a 2.45 GHz base, at 280 W with tighter R6515 limits.
