Refurbished Dell 7HGKK TPM 1.2 module, a plug-in Trusted Platform Module for Dell 13th gen PowerEdge system boards. A Dell TPM is a plug-in module that generates and stores keys, passwords and certificates in hardware, the anchor for BitLocker and pre-boot measurements. Dell states that once installed it is cryptographically bound to that system board and cannot be moved to another server.

Compatibility
7HGKK is the 13th gen TPM 1.2 FIPS module; Dell support identifies it as 1.2, though some resale listings mislabel it as 2.0. It fits the 13th gen connector only; 14th gen boards take FMYG3 and 15th gen boards take a different module. When to Choose This
Choose TPM 1.2 to match a 13th gen fleet already provisioned on 1.2, or an OS image built for it. For a new BitLocker or Intel TXT deployment, the 13th gen TPM 2.0 module, K98XH, is the current standard and what most audits ask for. Fair warning: the binding is one-way, so choose the version before you install.
Installation Notes
TPM Security is off by default; turn it on in System Setup after installing the module. For Intel TXT, Dell requires virtualization technology and TPM Security with pre-boot measurements enabled. Clearing the TPM erases every key in it, so back up BitLocker recovery keys first.
