Refurbished Dell A7 ReadyRails II sliding rail kit, the 1U tool-less rail for Dell 13th gen and 14th gen PowerEdge rack servers that carry rail identifier A7. Dell matches rails to servers by rail identifier, so the A or B code is what has to fit your chassis, not the server name. Sliding rails pull the server out of the rack for service, while static rails fit more rack types but hold the chassis in place.

Compatibility
The A7 is a 1U ReadyRails II sliding kit for 4-post racks. It drops into square-hole and unthreaded round-hole racks without tools; threaded round-hole racks take a minor conversion and the mounting screws are not in the kit. When to Choose This
Choose the A7 when the server will be serviced in the rack: it slides the chassis fully forward so you can lift the lid without unracking. If the rack is 2-post or the server never moves once installed, the stab-in static A8 fits more racks for less. Fair warning: match the identifier printed on the rail, not the server model on the box.
