Refurbished Dell B6 ReadyRails II sliding rail kit, the 2U tool-less rail that Dell carried across its 13th gen, 14th gen and 15th gen two-socket rack servers under rail identifier B6. Dell matches rails to servers by rail identifier, so the A or B code is what has to fit your chassis, not the server name. Sliding rails pull the server out of the rack for service, while static rails fit more rack types but hold the chassis in place.

Compatibility
The B6 is the long-running 2U ReadyRails II sliding kit. It installs tool-less in square-hole and unthreaded round-hole 4-post racks and with the optional threaded-hole adapter in tapped racks. It has no 2-post mount. A Dell CMA attaches to the rear of the outer members. Because Dell kept the B6 identifier across three generations, a B6 kit from an older 2U server fits the newer one; the deep storage chassis and the four-socket servers carry their own identifiers. When to Choose This
Choose the B6 for any tagged 2U server that will be serviced in the rack; it is the most common Dell 2U rail and the easiest to source. If the server sits in a 2-post rack or will never be opened in place, Dell's stab-in static 2U kit is cheaper and fits more rack types. Fair warning: confirm the identifier on your rail before ordering a second set.
