There are no drive LEDs and no hot-plug; a drive swap means powering down. Some 15th gen chassis take the S1 as an integrated-slot module, so confirm yours takes the adapter form. Installation Notes

Create the RAID 1 virtual disk in the BOSS-S1 configuration utility before the OS install and set it first in UEFI boot order. It always spans the full mirror; Dell does not support a smaller size.
