Refurbished HPE 789388-B21 1U LFF Easy Install rail kit, the tool-less sliding rail for large form factor 1U chassis in HPE ProLiant Gen9 and Gen10 servers. HPE matches rail kits to chassis height and depth, so 1U, 2U and 4U kits, and the SFF and LFF versions of one height, are separate parts. Sliding rails let the server pull forward for service, and the cable management arm is usually a separate option.

HPE names this kit the 1U LFF Gen9 Easy Install Rail Kit. It fits 1U ProLiant chassis with 3.5-inch drive bays, which are deeper than the SFF version of the same server; the SFF chassis takes 734807-B21 instead. It mounts in 19-inch 4-post racks and takes the optional 1U cable management arm. When to Choose This
Choose this kit for a 1U LFF server you want to slide forward for drive cage or lid work without unracking it. If the server has 2.5-inch bays, buy the SFF kit. Fair warning: HPE lists this kit against the Gen9 1U LFF chassis; on a Gen10 1U server check the chassis depth against the kit before you commit a rack position, and order the CMA at the same time if the rear cabling is dense.
