Refurbished HPE 561FLR-T dual-port 10GBase-T, an Intel X540 FlexibleLOM adapter for the FlexibleLOM slot in HPE ProLiant Gen9 servers. FlexibleLOM is HPE's mezzanine LOM format for ProLiant rack servers: the card sits on its own connector, so its ports never cost a PCIe slot. One fits per server, and swapping it later changes port speed or media.

Compatibility
The 561FLR-T sits on the FlexibleLOM connector only and replaces whatever FlexibleLOM the server carries, since one is the limit. Each port auto-negotiates 1 Gb/s or 10 Gb/s, so it links to a 1GbE switch today; for 10GBase-T at full length, plan Cat6A cabling. HPE asks for at least 2 GB of system memory per 10Gb adapter. When to Choose This
Choose the 561FLR-T for 10GbE over existing copper on Gen9 hosts, especially an estate already qualified on Intel X540 drivers. On Gen10, HPE lists the 562FLR-T on the newer Intel X550 instead, and the 533FLR-T adds iSCSI and FCoE offload plus NPAR if you need them. If the top-of-rack switch is SFP+, the 562FLR-SFP+ draws less power and runs cooler than any 10GBase-T card.
