HPE 331T 4x 1Gb Ethernet PCIe Network Adapter

Refurbished HPE 331T quad-port 1GbE, a stand-up network adapter for a PCIe slot in HPE ProLiant servers. HPE-branded stand-up NICs carry HPE part numbers and HPE-qualified firmware for ProLiant servers. They add ports beside the embedded or FlexibleLOM networking at the cost of one PCIe slot.

Compatibility

The 331T needs one PCIe slot of x4 or wider; it fits x8 and x16 slots and runs at x4, which is ample for four 1GbE ports. It is not a FlexibleLOM card, so it cannot replace the server's FlexibleLOM; it adds ports beside it. Check the bracket height against your riser before you install. When to Choose This

Choose the 331T when the FlexibleLOM position is already used or the server has no FlexibleLOM, and you need four more 1GbE ports for management, backup or VLAN separation. If the FlexibleLOM slot is free, the 331FLR puts the same Broadcom BCM5719 there and keeps the PCIe slot open. For Intel drivers, the Intel i350 quad-port card is the equivalent; for 10GbE, the X710.
