Refurbished HPE 544+FLR-QSFP dual-port FDR InfiniBand and 10/40GbE, a FlexibleLOM adapter for the FlexibleLOM slot in HPE ProLiant Gen9 and Gen10 servers. FlexibleLOM is HPE's mezzanine LOM format for ProLiant rack servers: the card sits on its own connector, so its ports never cost a PCIe slot. One fits per server, and swapping it later changes port speed or media.

Compatibility
The 544+FLR-QSFP uses the FlexibleLOM connector, not a PCIe slot, and takes the server's single FlexibleLOM position. HPE files it under InfiniBand rather than the Ethernet FlexibleLOM list in the server QuickSpecs, so look there when you check fit. On the DL580 Gen9, Wake-on-LAN through a FlexibleLOM is not supported. Gen10 Plus servers moved to an OCP 3.0 slot and take no FlexibleLOM card. QSFP cables and optics are sold separately. When to Choose This
Choose the 544+FLR-QSFP to join an existing FDR InfiniBand fabric for HPC or parallel storage, or to land 40GbE without spending a riser slot. The 547FLR-QSFP is the newer 40/50GbE card when your switches support it. If the network is plain Ethernet at 25GbE, the 640FLR-SFP28 is simpler to cable and to drive. We do not quote InfiniBand cards for general virtualization traffic.
Installation Notes
Port 1 defaults to FDR InfiniBand and port 2 to Ethernet; set the port type before you cable it. Running a port at 10GbE needs HPE's QSFP to SFP+ adapter, 655874-B21. Linux uses Mellanox OFED drivers; Windows runs the card in Ethernet mode with WinOF.
