About this part
Refurbished HPE 562FLR-T dual-port 10GBase-T, an Intel X550 FlexibleLOM adapter for the FlexibleLOM slot in HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers. FlexibleLOM is HPE's mezzanine LOM format for ProLiant rack servers: the card sits on its own connector, so its ports never cost a PCIe slot. One fits per server, and swapping it later changes port speed or media.

Compatibility
The 562FLR-T fits the FlexibleLOM connector only and replaces the installed FlexibleLOM, since a server takes one. It runs on a PCIe 3.0 x4 link, which carries two 10GbE ports at full rate. HPE specifies Cat6A for 10GBase-T runs up to 100 m; older Cat5e will often hold the port at 1GbE. Gen10 Plus servers moved to an OCP 3.0 slot and take no FlexibleLOM card. The stand-up 562T is the PCIe version if the FlexibleLOM slot is taken. Browse matching parts for the HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10.
When to Choose This
Choose the 562FLR-T for 10GbE on copper where you want plain Ethernet with SR-IOV and tunnel offloads for overlay networks, and do not need storage offload. The 533FLR-T is the alternative when you want hardware iSCSI or FCoE and NPAR. If the switch side is SFP+, the 562FLR-SFP+ runs the same job with less power and latency per port; for four 1GbE ports, the 366FLR.
