HPE DL380 G10 High-Performance Fan Kit (6x)

Refurbished HPE 867810-B21, the six-fan high performance kit that replaces the standard fan set in HPE DL380 Gen10 servers. HPE fits DL380 Gen10 processor kits above 130 W with the high performance heatsink, and calls for its six-fan high performance kit with rear drives, GPUs and NVMe drive cages. Order heatsinks by CPU wattage and fans by chassis configuration; they solve different thermal limits.

Compatibility

HPE requires this kit for rear drives, GPUs, NVMe drive configurations, a field upgrade to 24 SFF and the Universal Media Bay in box 1; the 205 W Gold 6137 calls for it too. When to Choose This

Choose it when adding rear drive cages, a GPU or NVMe to an 8 SFF or 8 LFF DL380 Gen10 that shipped on standard fans. A one-processor server runs four standard fans; this kit is six, so it covers the second-socket positions. Heatsinks are a separate decision: see the 826706-B21 pair.

Installation Notes

HPE states the six high performance fans replace all the standard fans in the unit, so swap the full set in one shutdown rather than mixing fan types.
