Refurbished HPE 331FLR quad-port 1GbE, a FlexibleLOM network adapter for the FlexibleLOM slot in HPE ProLiant Gen9 and Gen10 servers. FlexibleLOM is HPE's mezzanine LOM format for ProLiant rack servers: the card sits on its own connector, so its ports never cost a PCIe slot. One fits per server, and swapping it later changes port speed or media.

Compatibility
The 331FLR seats on the FlexibleLOM connector only; it is not a stand-up PCIe card. A server takes one FlexibleLOM, so this card replaces the installed one rather than adding ports beside it. On the DL580 Gen9, HPE does not support Wake-on-LAN through a FlexibleLOM; use a PCIe NIC there if WoL matters. Gen10 Plus servers moved to an OCP 3.0 slot and take no FlexibleLOM card. When to Choose This
Choose the 331FLR when a host needs four 1GbE ports for management, backup or segmented VLANs and you do not want to spend a riser slot. The 366FLR is the Intel I350 equivalent; pick by the driver your OS image already standardizes on. For virtualization or iSCSI storage traffic, step up to the 533FLR-T on 10GBase-T copper or the 562FLR-SFP+ on SFP+, since a 1GbE link caps each flow at 1 Gb/s.
