Compatibility
This Haswell-EP part fits LGA 2011-3 Grantley boards only, not LGA 2011 (E5 v2) or LGA 3647 sockets. It runs memory at up to DDR4-2133, stepping down at 3 DIMMs per channel. The R530 has 12 DIMM slots, not 24. At 135 W it needs HPE's high-performance heatsink, plus the high-performance fan kit in the 1U DL360 Gen9; in the Dell PowerEdge R630, use the high-TDP heatsink. v3 and v4 cannot be mixed in one server.
