This is an Ice Lake-SP part for LGA 4189 boards only; it does not fit the older LGA 3647 sockets. At 12 cores it fits the value Dell PowerEdge R450 and R550, which top out at 24 cores per socket, and the xs and full R650 and R750, on the standard heatsink in the R650. Memory runs at DDR4-2933, set by the CPU. At exactly 150 W it crosses HPE's threshold. On the HPE ProLiant DL360 and DL380 Gen10 Plus, HPE requires the high-performance heatsink kit P27095-B21 for any processor of 150 W or more.
