Compatibility
This is an Ice Lake-SP part for LGA 4189 boards only; it does not fit the older LGA 3647 sockets. At 24 cores and 165 W it fits the value Dell PowerEdge R450 and R550, which top out at 24 cores per socket, as well as the xs and full R650 and R750. Memory runs at DDR4-2933 with this processor even if you install DDR4-3200 DIMMs; the CPU sets the speed, not the board. On the HPE ProLiant DL360 and DL380 Gen10 Plus, HPE requires the high-performance heatsink kit P27095-B21 for any processor of 150 W or more.
