Refurbished Intel Xeon Gold 6334, an 8-core, 16-thread processor for LGA 4189 two-socket servers. The Xeon Gold 6300 series is the performance Gold tier of Intel's 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable (Ice Lake-SP) family, running eight DDR4-3200 memory channels and 64 PCIe 4.0 lanes per CPU across 8 to 32 cores.

Compatibility
This is an Ice Lake-SP part for LGA 4189 boards only; it does not fit the older LGA 3647 sockets. At 8 cores it fits every tagged board, including the cost-optimized Dell PowerEdge R650xs and R750xs, which run one DIMM per channel. At 165 W it stays on the standard heatsink in the R650. On the HPE ProLiant DL360 and DL380 Gen10 Plus, HPE requires the high-performance heatsink kit P27095-B21 for any processor of 150 W or more. When to Choose This
The 6334 has the highest base clock in the Ice Lake Gold line: 3.6 GHz on 8 cores with full DDR4-3200 and 18 MB of cache. It is built for per-core licensed software such as SQL Server Enterprise, Oracle and EDA tools, where each license costs more than the CPU. For anything that scales with threads it is the wrong part; the Gold 6326 doubles the cores at 2.9 GHz. For a cheaper 8-core part, the Gold 5315Y.
