Refurbished Dell PERC H330 Mini Mono, a cacheless 12 Gb/s RAID controller for the dedicated mini PERC slot in Dell 13th and 14th gen PowerEdge servers. The PERC H330 is the entry controller of Dell's PERC 9 family, built on the LSI SAS3008 with 8 lanes of 12 Gb/s SAS and no cache or battery. It suits boot mirrors, RAID 10 sets and non-RAID drives rather than parity arrays.

Compatibility
The mini mono board installs in the integrated storage controller slot and cables to the drive backplane, so it leaves the PCIe slots free. It does not fit a PCIe slot (the H330 adapter does that job) or a blade. Backplane SAS cables are chassis parts and stay with the server. No cache means no battery or battery cable to source. 15th gen servers moved to PERC 11 and a different controller slot; this card does not fit them. When to Choose This
Choose the H330 Mini for boot mirrors, RAID 10 sets and hosts whose data lives on a SAN. Dell's own guide notes the missing cache costs RAID 5 and 50 performance, so for parity arrays take the H730P with 2 GB NV cache, or the H740P on 14th gen. For software-defined storage, the HBA330 is the cleaner pass-through.
