Refurbished Dell PERC H730P PCIe Adapter with 2 GB NV cache, a RAID controller for a standard PCIe slot in Dell 13th and 14th gen PowerEdge towers and entry racks. The PERC H730P belongs to Dell's PERC 9 family, built on the LSI SAS3108 RAID-on-chip with 2 GB of battery-backed non-volatile cache. It is the write-back controller for parity arrays, databases and busy virtual machine stores on local drives.

This is the adapter form: it takes a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot and cables to the drive backplane through two mini-SAS HD ports, for servers with no mini PERC slot. It does not fit an integrated mini slot. Connect the battery for write-back. Backplane cables stay with the chassis, and the listing covers both bracket heights, so name yours when you order. When to Choose This

Choose the H730P adapter for databases, file servers and VM stores on RAID 5, 6 or 10 with write-back cache. On the entry single-socket R240, R340 and T340, Dell offers no H740P, so this is the top cached controller there.
