Wholesale Servers supplies new and professionally refurbished enterprise server hardware to businesses, IT departments, government agencies, and educational institutions across the United States. We specialize in Dell PowerEdge and HPE ProLiant systems, with deep inventory across current and prior generations: 16th-gen Dell (R660, R760) down through 13th-gen workhorses, plus HPE Gen10+ through Gen9.
We're a wholesale-first operation. That means our pricing is structured for buyers who know what they want, our quotes are built fast, and our reps don't waste your time. Our position on new vs. refurbished
Most of what we sell is professionally refurbished enterprise hardware: servers that were originally deployed in data centers, decommissioned at the end of a refresh cycle, and reconditioned to a like-new state. We're going to be direct about this because it matters.
Refurbished enterprise servers are not consumer refurbished electronics. The hardware was engineered for 5 to 10 years of 24/7 operation in conditioned data center environments. A 14th-gen Dell PowerEdge that came out of a Fortune 500 colo has more useful life ahead of it than most companies will get out of a brand-new mid-tier server. The components are over-engineered, the burn-in has already happened, and the failure rates at this point in the lifecycle are exceptionally low.
That said, new is the right choice in specific cases: you need the latest CPU architecture for performance reasons, you have a procurement policy that requires new hardware, or you want the full original manufacturer warranty. We sell both, and our reps will tell you honestly which path makes more sense for your workload.
What sets us apart
We test every refurbished system before it ships
Every refurbished server goes through a 12+ hour burn-in test covering every PCIe slot, every memory channel, and every drive bay. If something fails during burn-in, it doesn't ship. That's not a marketing line. It's the actual process, and it's why our return rate on refurbished hardware is in the low single digits.
We know the catalog
The difference between an R740 and an R740xd matters. So does the difference between an R650 with the 8x2.5" backplane and the 10x2.5" NVMe backplane. We don't expect every buyer to know these distinctions, and our reps are trained to ask the right questions to make sure you get the right configuration the first time, not after a return.
We're built for volume
Single-unit orders ship fast. Multi-unit orders, whether 10 servers, 50 servers, or 100 servers, get dedicated quoting, configuration consistency across the batch, and consolidated shipping. We hold inventory specifically for fleet refreshes rather than scrambling to source per order.
We support the procurement process

Warranty and post-sale support
Every server we ship is covered by a warranty: the included 180-day limited warranty, or a 1-, 2-, or 3-year premium warranty depending on what you select at purchase. The premium warranties include full hardware replacement, component-level replacement, and round-trip shipping. The details are on our warranty page.
Beyond warranty, we offer paid diagnostic and hardware sourcing services for customers experiencing issues with existing servers, whether or not they originally bought from us.
Where we are
Wholesale Servers operates out of Suwanee, Georgia, with our facility at 70 Buford Highway. Inventory is held on-site, which means same-day shipping on most stocked configurations and the ability to do hands-on QA before anything leaves the building.
